Why my services are so cheap
I don't charge GST
As this is a very small local business, I don't meet the threshold for charging a Goods & Services Tax. That's a cool 15% still left in your pocket.
I don't hold inventory
Other stores hold inventory that becomes less valuable over time. The prices they charge have to make up for the money lost by their depreciating inventory. I don't have that problem!
I do it because I love it
If I could, I wouldn't charge a service fee at all and this would be a non-profit business. Because I'm a sole trader there are some risks that I must charge to cover, but I keep that to a minimum.
